This day retreat offers a gentle space to relax, reconnect, and allow yourself to be deeply nourished and cared for. Through moments of stillness and playfulness, we’ll invite a sense of wonder and open the door to new dreams and possibilities.

  • Gentle Movement & Stretching: Start the day by easing into your body with mindful, gentle stretches and movement to release tension and build presence.

  • Cultivating Positive Self-Dialogue: Engage in practices to shift inner narratives, fostering self-compassion and empowerment.

  • Delicious Nourishment: Pastries, herbal tea, and coffee upon arrival. Enjoy a beautifully chef-prepared lunch in a serene setting to nourish both body and soul. Additional herbal teas and refreshments offered throughout the day.

  • Guided Relaxation & Yoga Nidra: Experience deep rest through long guided relaxation practices and yoga nidra, offering profound rejuvenation.

  • Restorative Yoga: Sink into restful poses that allow the body to unwind fully.

  • Personal Retreat Time: Use of the indoor hot tub, sauna, large pool looking out to the woods, 5 miles of hiking trails, and plenty of quiet nooks to relax in.

  • Beautiful & Nurturing Setting ~ your surroundings are located on 150 acres of woods and prairie

Cancellation Policy

Thank you so much for your interest in our retreat. Your commitment is what makes this special gathering possible. Since this retreat requires a minimum number of participants to proceed, please understand that we are unable to offer refunds.

​

If you are unable to attend:
You are welcome to transfer your registration to someone else. Simply let us know the new participant's name and contact details, and we’ll take care of the rest.

​

In the event of severe weather:
Your safety is our top priority. If a blizzard or other extreme weather conditions make the roads undriveable, we will reschedule the retreat to a later date. Your registration will automatically transfer to the new date, and we will work to ensure the updated schedule is as convenient as possible for everyone.

You are encouraged to participate in any session you would like, and also listen to your intuition if you need quiet time for yourself.  All organized activities are optional.  Feel free to take a walk, meditate, enjoy the pool, journal, bring a book, etc. to deepen your experience.

Through moments of deep relaxation, gentle care, and playful exploration, we’ll nourish the heart and create space for dreaming, wonder, and a sense of renewal.  Join Kris for a body system inspired movement practice themed around health and wellness for digestive, circulatory, lymphatic, and respiratory systems. Intention for healing and ease.

Use this time to journal, read, sip tea by the fireplace, take a walk, enjoy the sauna, pool, hot tub, etc.  This is your time just to be.

Self Massage With Herbal Oil, 
Restorative Rest, & Yoga Nidra .. for Healing

Learn the practice of Abhyanga - 

Self-massage and anointing with herbal oil for the marma points (acupressure points) before we rest the body in restorative poses.  Incredibly relaxing and nourishing.  The practice will then be woven into a deeply healing practice with a guided relaxation for Yoga Nidra

Kris Layman is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, owner, and creative coordinator of Prema Yoga. With nearly 30 years of experience as a yoga teacher and massage therapist, Kris is passionate about working with individuals and groups to cultivate health, wellness, and a deeper connection to themselves.
